Titles like Astro Boy, Princess Knight, Kimba the White Lion, Black Jack, Phoenix, Buddha, Dororo, Adolf, and many others have earned him the title “God of Manga.” Thanks to the collaboration between Lo Scarabeo and Tezuka Productions, the official artworks of these masterpieces can now come back to life as the Arcana of this unique Tarot deck: Tezuka Tarot. About the Author
Osamu Tezuka – Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1928, Osamu Tezuka reached the apex of the entertainment world by crafting stories that shaped the style of Japanese manga and cartoons the way we know them today. His career began after World War II, when, despite going through medical school, he became more and more involved with the Japanese art scene. Works like Kimba the White Lion, Astro Boy, Phoenix, and Black Jack earned him great success and notoriety. He passed away in 1989, leaving his name to one of the most prestigious awards in the world of comic books.
