Runic pendant – solid pewter pendant with Runic alphabet; comes on an adjustable waxed cotton thong.
The Runic “Futhark” alphabet dates back thousands of years, and is one of the oldest. It was used by Germanic tribes across Scandinavia and northern Europe from around 3AD until 17 AD as an early form of writing inscribed onto memorial stones, weapons, tools and buildings. Knowing these ancient symbols can shed light on hidden stories often obscured with time.

Runic Pendant
The venerable alloy of pewter is made of 92% tin with copper and antimony to harden it and enhance casting. At St Justin the distinguished tradition of casting pewter lives on. High quality pewter ingots are fused in a crucible and the molten metal is poured into rubber moulds created from the original master design.
After cooling and linishing, the items are hand-polished and assembled by craftsmen.
