This Lavender Alexite ring is set in solid Sterling Silver. Lavender Alexite is a synthetic Alexandrite, and changes colour in natural and artificial light. The colour change  ranges from beautiful tanzanite blue to deep lavender under artificial light. When viewed outdoors, it appears nearly pink. The colour spreads throughout and maintains consistent brilliance. In the photograph, you can see the change taking place from blue at the bottom of the stone, to lavender at the top, as the stone has been placed under the studio lighting.
