Bretagne triscele pendant – pewter triscele pendant embossed with symbols from Brittany.  It hangs on an 18″ tin plated curb chain.

The triscele is commonly found in early and later Celtic art. Fine examples can be found in Ireland, Great Britain and, especially, Brittany. The triscele is thought to represent the three Celtic realms; spiritual, physical and celestial but is also seen as the past, the present and the future. One of the most popular of Ancient Celtic designs, it survived well into the Christian period, probably because it could also be considered to represent the Holy Trinity.
